Jun.19 (GMM) Williams' chief executive Adam Parr on Friday admitted the British team is concerned about the prospect of competing against a grid of unfamiliar competitors in 2010.

Before every other team with the exception of Force India announced overnight plans to contest a breakaway championship, Williams had already signed up unconditionally to race in the FIA's official series.

But now facing the prospect of a world championship without the likes of Ferrari, McLaren and other big names, Parr told reporters it is "going to be very difficult to raise sponsorship revenues" in that environment.

However, he insisted that Williams does not regret its choices, because it relies on the money provided by F1's commercial rights holders.

"We are the only team in formula one this year that will raise money without asking its shareholders for one penny -- the only team in formula one," he said.

"Every other team in formula one raises a significant proportion of their budget from their shareholders or shareholder. And we can't do that," Parr added.
