30 November: Formula 1 Testing - Barcelona - Day 3, Valencia - Day 1, Mugello - Day 1

Third day of testing at Barcelona with Renault and Honda joining the test while McLaren took a scheduled day off testing. 
Ferrari commenced testing at Valencia and Mugello.

At Barcelona, Jenson Button set the fastest time of the day with a 1:14.109 ahead of Renault test drivers Franck Montagny and Jarno Trulli. The top 2 drivers ran V10 engines while Trulli was the fastest of the V8 runners.
Once again weather conditions were sunny and cold with track temperatures reaching a maximum of 15 degrees Celsius.

Jenson Button covered the most number of laps with 97. Button conducted testing on the BAR 007 from the 2005 season as well as the BAR 006 from the 2004 season.

BMW Sauber improved on the previous two days with Heidfeld completing 68 laps and setting the 5th fastest time.

Anthony Davidson in the second Honda ran with a V8 engine and set the 10th fastest time.

Nico Rosberg only managed 18 laps due to hydraulic and pneumatic problems on his car. Team-mate Mark Webber returned to testing completing 74 laps and setting the 11th fastest time.

Testing continues tomorrow with McLaren rejoining the test. BMW Sauber have concluded their test.

2006 Spanish Grand Prix Tickets

Ferrari's Felipe Massa commenced testing at the Valencia track. Concentrating on Bridgestone tyre testing, Massa covered 95 laps with a best lap of 1:13.165.
Marc Gene commenced testing at Mugello. He completed 39 laps with a best time of 1:32.672 under wet conditions.
